Hi,
I couldn't find other topic concerning my problem so I opened a new one.
I created a new reference type called "report". When I create a bibliography all the reports are exported as @Article. How can I change this, so that reports are exported as @report?
Thanks,
Ralf
Export of new reference types to bibliography
Re: Export of new reference types to bibliography
You have to edit the BibTeX format. Add a new Type (Report) and edit the output so that it sends @report for references of that Type.

Re: Export of new reference types to bibliography
Hi Jon,
I have to get back to that because I still did not understand: How do I connect the Reference types I created in my Preferences to the BibTex Format types I can edit in the Formats Manager?
You said I can create a new BibTex Format. But what if I want to export the reference type "web page" to the BibTex Format "@misc" which already exists? Currently "web page" is exported as @article and this does not fit at all...
I just need to know where I can connect the reference types with BibTex Formats for export - I cannot find this setting in the preferences at all...
Thanx,
Ralf
