How to tell which static groups a record is in?

How to tell what static groups a record is in (obviously when the record has been found not by searching within a particular group?) Cleaning up some near-duplicate records, but don't want to lose the group associations if I'm deleting one. Thanks—

Please see "Instantly see the groups to which a reference belongs", p. 83-84, in the User Guide, Help menu.
