Repairing the database
Repairing the database
How does one repair the database when it is in the Library folder that Bookends cannot see even if you use TinkerTool to make the folder visible to the Finder?

There is no Library folder that you cannot see. See our FAQ

Re: Repairing the database
First, I am sorry if there was any attitude coming through the first post. It was very late when I put it up and I may have not phrased it the best. Now, my problem is that while I can see the library when I perform the Show Bookends folder in Finder, that does not help when I access File Library Maintenance Repair . . . The finder type window that comes up does not show the library folder in my user directory which is where my library is. I am missing something but I do not know what. Sorry. I will work on it more again late this evening as I have family duties that will occupy me for most of the day. Cheers!

You can actually make the Library folder visible in the Finder several ways
http://osxdaily.com/2014/12/16/show-use ... -yosemite/
Without doing anything to your settings, however, you can do this:
1. Go to the Bookends library file in the Finder.
2. Move it to the Desktop
3. Repair
4. Move the repaired library back to ~/Library/Application Support/Bookends
Also, note that Bookends does not care where you put your library. The above path is the default, that's all. You can move it if you prefer somewhere else.
