Hi, I have some notes (in PDF format) that I'd like to attach to a reference. If I control-click on the reference, and select "Add Attachment" from the menu, the attachment disappears from the folder in which it resided, presumably because it has been moved to the Bookends default attachments folder (which is what I want). However, I do not see the attachment associated with the reference in any way, such as in the attachments window.
Is "Add Attachment" the proper way to go about adding outside notes (as PDFs or PNGs) to a reference that already has a full PDF of the paper attached?
For what it's worth, my ultimate goal is to find a workflow in which I can copy notes from GoodNotes and associate them with references in Bookends.
Thanks.
Attaching multiple notes to a reference
Re: Attaching multiple notes to a reference
If you have multiple attachments (PDFs with notes, .docx files, Mellel files, etc.) each one will appear in a popup menu below the attachment display. Select the one you want. It doesn't matter how you add the attachment. (Personally, I almost always add PDFs that I have by drag and drop, but that's just my preference).

Great, this was exactly what I was hoping to be able to do. Thanks Jon.
