Importing references suddenly won't work

Hi,

I have been using Bookends for years. One function i often use is importing .ris format reference as exported from web or Zotero. But today my bookends 12.7.6 suddenly can't do that. The .ris file in the "import window" remains grey in color, which cannot be selected.

When I open an old version of Bookends, version 10, this problem isn't there. I can easily import references of .ris format, without any problems.

I notice that there are some big changes on the menu related to importing references. What things am I missing?

I am using mac sierra 10.12

Ok. problem solved. I just changed the pull-down menu from show "text files" to "All files'. Thanks

How exactly you solve it? I have the same problem and cannot figure how to solve the problem.
