Copy citation?

Is it possible to copy a selected reference as a formatted citation? It would be nice if a select few different citation formats are permitted -- even if they are basic, such as as Authors (year). TItle. Journal. DOI.
Along these lines, it would also be useful if the citation placeholder of a selected reference could be copied to the clipboard.
