I've done a search but can't find anyone with my specific problem. I'm trying to transfer my EN8 file across to Bookends. I'm using an .xml file but keep getting the following error
Error: XML parser error 4: not well-formed(invalid token)
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong. Suggestions welcomed.

Hi Darren,

You are probably doing nothing wrong -- it looks like EN is exporting a malformed XML file.

Use the Refer export/import method instead. This is detailed on our web site and in the Read Me that comes with Bookends on how to import EndNote references.
