PDF display issues

I have had persistent issues with PDF display in annotation view (perhaps since its introduction) in Yosemite, El Capitan and Sierra. Currently running 10.12.1, MBPr 2012. Has anyone else reported this?

Yes, there's a thread on this already. It's bugs in PDFKit (which are much worse in 10.12.2 -- see our Announcement about avoiding that update). It happens with large PDFs. The artifact will go away if you change the display to "Actual Size".

Jon,
You can also get rid of the problem if you use either the `Single Page' or `Two Pages' option (as opposed to `Single Page Continuous' or `Two Pages Continuous'). Navigation is then a bit more painful though -- Show Thumbnails helps.
