I admit that I'm still learning the Bookends syntax and need lots of help. My "journal article" bibliograph/citation entries look like this:
Bib: a. “t.” f v $, no. $i (d): p–.
Cit: a, “t,” f v $, no. $i (d): p–.
The problem is that I have an article titled, "Beyond 'Identity.'" Since the final word comes in quotes, I get an output of this:
Brubaker, Rogers, and Frederick Cooper. “Beyond ‘Identity’.” Theory and Society 29, no. 1 (2000): 1–47.
Is there a way to get the period/comma to move within the inner quote as well? I know that I can manually fix it on my dissertation, but would rather not have to remember it for each time I remember this and similarly titled works.
Period/Comma Issue
Re: Period/Comma Issue
No, there's not. Bookends is smart enough to put the period inside or outside of the closing quote mark (a setting in the format), but not inside an apostrophe that occurs before the closing quote mark.

Re: Period/Comma Issue
Thanks for your help! Bookends is so great at everything else, I figured there was a way to pull it off. Fortunately, it's not an issue that comes up often.
