I'm using NWP (2.1.6) and Bookends (12.7.7)
When copy in "Formatted view window" and paste that to NWP, some font will be miss read, especially on umlaut word.
e.g.,
Copy in Bookends
Höfer, K, Jäschke, A. 2016. Molecular biology: A surprise beginning for RNA. Nature
Pasted in NWP
Her, K, J舖chke, A. 2016. Molecular biology: A surprise beginning for RNA. Nature

I'm using "Times new roman".
This problem can be solved when once pasted in word2011, and re-copy and paste in NWP.

I can't reproduce this problem on an English macOS install. Since Word recognizes the character correctly and NWP does not, you should write to Nisus tech support and see if they can reproduce it. If there's something wrong at either end, Bookends or NWP, we can work with them fix it.

I already posted this topic in NWP forum.
It's probably come from Japanese font or some settings in NWP.
I found a solution, if I set "Preferences > General > Default fonts for: Bibliographies" font as Hiragino Kagu Gothic Pro N (Japanese standard font), then I can paste text correctly.
