Bookends folder and dropbox

Hello
It looks like the Bookends folder in Dropbox now has to be at a fixed place i.e. /Dropbox/Bookends. This was not the case before. Is it normal ?

It doesn't have to be -- can can put it in a subfolder in the Dropbox folder if you want. But you'll have to then tell Bookends where to find it in preferences (you would choose Other for the location and then guide Bookends to where you put it).

This is what I thought
But now, when I try to select a subfolder in Dropbox (eg Dropbox/Work/Biblio/Bookends/Attachements, it is automatically set back to Dropbox/Bookends/Attachments)

You're right. Leave it where Bookends wants it for now. I'll see if I can change that.

I think I've fixed this. Please download Bookends again tomorrow and see if it works for you, too.

I also had this problem, and Jon's update appears to have fixed it for me at least.

This appears to be a problem still? I can select Dropbox for Folder Locations and Custom Folders, but Bookends sets the paths to

/Users/sylvaticus/Dropbox/Bookends/Attachments
/Users/sylvaticus/Dropbox/Bookends

Most of my other apps place themselves under /Users/sylvaticus/Dropbox/apps

so I created /apps/Bookends for mail file, but when I set the folders above to Dropbox, Bookends will not let me update the path to add /apps.

Am I doing something wrong?

Much thanks for any help and insight.

You should be able to any location (including /Users/sylvaticus/Dropbox/apps) by selecting Custom in Bookends preferences.

P.S. I don't have such a folder, btw, although of course I could create one.
