Hello Jon,
I wanted to write some formatted text in the forum today using Safari, but all the formatting tools (bold, italic, URL, Font color etc) are irresponsive.
I switched to Firefox, in case that might make any difference, and then got this message:

"Your connection is not secure. The owner of http://www.sonnysoftware.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website."

This is the link I entered into Firefox:
viewforum.php?f=2

Why is this happening? And why am I unable to format the text?

I don't know, styled text works for me.

As for Firefox, I've seen it give spurious certification warnings before. One reason I don't use it.

After doing View > Reload With Plug-Ins in Safari, I'm back to normal. That solved the problem.
