Bookends is not working

Hello,

I have updated Bookends to last updated version, and om Mellel 4. This is the firat time I am trying to open references on mellel file
I have prepared the deials pn Bookends as I did for years, but whe I click on Copy Citation botton no refernece is opened on a mellel file, a new file I opened for this purpose. Nothing happened.
I don't know the reason for, and wish to share with you any assistance

Please read the Bookends 12.8.3 release notes Read Me (in the Help menu or on our web site). You have to reset Mellel 4 as your word processor in Bookends Preferences.

Thanks for your reply and for the help.
It works now. I used to BE working after each update. Now, I am fixed.

Thank you. Mellel 4 is a new app with a new bundle ID -- as far as macOS is concerned it has no relationship to older versions of Mellel. That's why you need to reset your word processor in Bookends when you update to Mellel 4.
