A quick search suggests that this has not been posted, but I didn't look all that carefully. Sorry if it has come up.

I have made a decision to use bookends as my primary storage for lit after getting badly hurt (in terms of lost database) by Sente's disappearance.

The only thing that in the past has held me back are the highlighting colors, all of which are too strong or dark. The only useable color is yellow, and even that is too strong.

I notice in the IOS version that there is an ability to set the opacity of the color. I would love to see either the addition of opacity control OR the ability to change/add highlighting colors to less intense hues.

The colors are the same as used by Preview, except their yellow is more orange than ours. I'll keep your request in mind.

I want to second this request. I'm also a Sente refugee and am overall really pleased with Bookends, only the highlighting is too dark/dense and generally too difficult to read through. Dialing back the opacity would be a big improvement.

You'll be able to substitute your own colors in the next update.
