I love the autofill from scanner on the iOS. I have a couple of questions though. For the ISBN, does it retrieve info from LOC? If so, it didn't bring in the call number or year, which it does in the desktop app.

Also, any thoughts on File>Import References>From scanner to do the same thing on the desktop?

We don't use LOC as the primary source for ISBN (it sends MARC records and the data are often a bit of a mess). There are currently no plans to add barcode scanning to Bookends for macOS.

Darn and darn! I always find LOC the most comprehensive for book imports.
