Need Comma Removed after Surname with a Title Following

Hello,

I am needing help with regard to formatting titles after a surname.

Presently, the format outputted by Bookends for a citation looks as follows:

K. Lawson Younger, Jr., “The ‘Contextual Method’: Some West Semitic Reflections,” in Archival Documents from the Biblical World, COS 3, eds. K. Lawson Younger, Jr. and William W. Hallo (Leiden: Brill, 2003)

I am looking to have the commas after the surname of the author and the editor (highlighted in red) removed from the citation. Is this possible?

The output is correct with regard to the bibliography, except for the comma in the editor field needing to be deleted after Younger:

Younger, K. Lawson, Jr. “The ‘Contextual Method’: Some West Semitic Reflections.” Pages xxxvi–liii in Archival Documents from the Biblical World, COS 3. Edited by K. Lawson Younger, Jr. and William W. Hallo. Leiden: Brill, 2003.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Nathan

I think that in Bookends suffixes are always separated from the name by a comma.

One thought -- if you terminate a name with a comma, Bookends will output it as entered, for the editor, try

K. Lawson Younger Jr.,

Don't do this when he's the author since that's rearranged as you want.

Excellent. That worked for the editor field. Thank you, Jon. I appreciate it.

I will simply remove the comma after the surname in a finished document output for the initial footnote citations since suffixes appear very little in my work.

Best wishes,
Nathan
