Folders and SmartGroups

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. My folders are syncing to my iPad, but they are empty but they should have SmartGroups inside them.

Bookends and Bookends for iOS use very different database engines, and smart groups do not translate.

Am I able to put smartgroups into folders on iOS?
