PDF markup - ignore fingers?

In the iOS app, I am using the Apple Pencil to add markup.
In other apps, I believe it is possible to use fingers to navigate around the PDF document whilst maintaining markup only via the pencil (i.e. when the iOS recognises that the pencil is being used, and it knows NOT to draw with any finger input - use fingers for navigation instead).
If possible, please can this adjustment be implemented in BE on iOS? At present, I keep making random marks from my fingers on the the PDF, and thus have to keep switching off the pen PDF markup feature in order to navigate around the PDF. Thanks!
