Here is my set up:

I'm starting a new Bookends library on my desktop Mac, and I want to share the library my laptop Mac. I'll use iCloud to sync the library between these two Macs.

I want to share/sync the Attachments folder between these two Macs. I could establish an Attachments folder in Dropbox to do this, but would prefer to use iCloud.

Soon, I also want to share the same library and attachments with my iPad.

Question: Where is the best location to establish the Attachments folder? I have a preference for using iCloud for all storage & sharing.

If Bookends for iOS is used then the only one possible locations for attachments is Bookends folder with icon on iCloud Drive. It should be created by macOS automatically after the first sync with Cloud of your iOS device.
