Whenever I try to add a note to a reference I get an error message:

SQL Error: line 1:1: unexpected token: Res Methods & Diss

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I am a very new user of Bookends, so please treat me gently!

Hi,

This is an SQL error (obviously) and should never occur if you are simply adding text to the Notes field. Is that what you are doing? And the text is the name of a journal? This sort of error should only occur if you are performing a SQL/REGEX search and don't use the correct syntax (in this case, not escaping the & with a \).
