Hi,

I'm part of a writing team that is using a mix of Bookends and Endnote on Macs. Exports from Bookends to .xml files are not playing well with Endnote. We've gone through a complex step of transforming these through Mendeley into .ris files, and that seemed to work.

I've read elsewhere on the forum that Bookends supports export to .ris files. I do not, however, see that option when I export and am in the Export Hits dialogue box.

What am I missing?

Open Biblio -> Format Manager and check ON the RIS format. Now us can use it to export references to text files (make sure you're not exporting as Styled Text).
