Source of crashing

Today I did a system reinstall and was pleased that things appeared to be operating well. But I just noticed that BE 8.1.2 has started crashing when attempting to open databases. It worked fine until I enabled BibTex in preferences. I later disabled the feature and other databases started going down. Now none of them open up properly.

Any ideas?

It's certainly related to my recent installation, I assume. Perhaps a file in the system folder needs trashing?

TIA.

PS OK, I just rebuilt a database, which does not cause any crashing.

Hi spd,

I don't understand -- did rebuilding fix the problem?

If not, please contact tech support directly, not via the forum.

Spoke too early again. Now it crashes with the rebuilt database. I will contact tech support per your request.
