v13.25: creating bibliography list changes sort

I often take a hit list of references sorted by first author and create a file with the references. They always respect the sort order in Bookends (ie, last name of first author). However, the latest version of Bookends seems to create an order in the resultant file that is not in any clear order. For example, here is how the citations are sorted in Bookends in my hit list:

Any ideas? I can't get this to sort in the resultant file automatically. Thanks.
