Smart Groups vs Smart Folders

What is the difference between smart folders vs smart groups?
The only difference is that the smart folder, which itself has a search, can also contain anything else a folder can (static groups, smart groups, other folders), so you can do multiple searches with a single click. A smart group just has it's own smart (dynamic) search, it doesn't contain anything.
