I know I can Control-click on a reference to "Show Attachment in Finder." Is there a keyboard shortcut for this? Or some way (menu item) that I can create one myself either in System Preferences > Keyboard or with KeyboardMaestro?

There is no keyboard shortcut for this, but I don't know if you can make one with the help of a third party utility. Perhaps someone else does.

Using BetterTouchTool, you can trigger a context menu and then automate the mouse movement (BTT can't seem to trigger Bookend's context menu items directly, not sure why):

Thanks for this suggestion. Once I trigger the contextual menu, though, I may as well just click "Show Attachment in Finder." Neat to know that BBT can generally trigger contextual menus, though. I was not aware of this.

For some reason, the trigger "Show Attachment in Finder" is not working for me (context menu triggers work fine in other apps), which was why I had to add the mouse manipulation actions. Does it work directly for you?
