Drag and drop mishits to groups

Hello! I have been consistently experiencing mishits when I drag and drop refs onto groups on the left hand panel. Now it seems to be the rule. I have closely observed this. I drag the ref over the desired group, I see that it is highlighted, I drop. I check the group and it is not there. Where did it go? They go to the group immediately above it, or if there is only a folder above, it asks me to create a new static group. I have success if I drop it onto the group above the desired one. I then look into the group below (the desired) and voilà, there it is.... Strange behavior. Any ideas of why this is happening and how I can fix it? Thanks.

I have also been experiencing this same issue on two separate computers with Bookends 13.4.6.
Here's a video example (I already emailed support with my library):
https://youtu.be/sfxgYnhsD94. I made a group called "test," tried to drag a random paper into it, and the paper instead went into the group below it.

This user sent me his library -- the problem was that the database indexes were corrupted and needed repair.

Sorry for never sending the library. I got on to something else and time flies. So when you say "needed repair" does that just involve File-library maintenance-"repair"? Or is the "repair" done otherwise? If so, how? Thank you.

Ok. Looked under help, looked in the manual. I don't see anything called Database Maintenance. Can you guide me a bit more? Thank you!

I don't have "database maintenance" under file. I only have "library maintenance", as I had originally written. Is that what you mean or am I missing something obvious...?

Same thing -- library is is another name for database. Use it.

ok. where are the libraries located on the disc normally? I need to direct the Open File dialog to the library on my disc and I don't know where it is. Thanks.

Hi Jon. I am still almost constantly experiencing this error. I have of course tried several times to repair my library. I am running the latest version of BE. Do you want me to send my library to you so you might try to see why repairing the library is not working for me as a fix to this problem?
