case issues in Nisus Writer

Giving Nisus Writer Pro a test run. Tried to add two citations and build a bibliography. At some point, in the first entry, the biblio suddenly becomes all small caps for no apparent reason. Am using the latest version of Bookends and NWP. Any ideas?

One cause of this can be if you have a particular combination of font sizes in the Bookends reference. Make sure you're using the default font and sizes (you can do a Global Change -> Restore Default Font and Style to all references in the library).

Thanks, Jon. Tried that. No difference.

In that case please send your scanned NWP document AND your Bookends library to tech support.

"scanned NWP document"?
what do you mean by "scanned"? can I just send the NWP document (RTF file) and Bookends library file? I've pared them down to something very small...and can still get the error.
Thanks for your help.

Well the font size changed after a scan I assume.
Send in either scanned or not.

Ok, made some progress. I wiped out my Application Support/Bookends directory and slowly added back my custom formats and my own library. Don’t see the small caps anymore. I have no idea what “fixed it”. If I see it again, I’ll be certain to see what changed and post.

I was able to stop this behavior by not using 9pt font as the default output.
Preferences->Default Fonts-> Size
