iCloud Login and Failing to Close Properly

Since the release of a version of the app compatible with Big Sur, I get the iCloud Login screen interrupting use on a random basis – I have iCloud syncing turned on – and I can't close the app without using Force Quit. Any ideas?

Thanks Jon; I missed that.
Any thoughts on the hanging on quitting. A cache issue perhaps?

No, I don't know what that could be due to. Try rebooting in Safe Mode (Shift key held down) and see if the quit works now.

It's no longer happening in the latest update, so whatever was causing it to hang seems to have resolved itself.

Bookends (on my Mac) still asks me to enter my computer password (for iCloud access, seemingly) every time I run it. I will try the instructions on the FAQ.
