How to insert a page number in an in-text citation in Mellel?

Hi everyone! I'm a french user. I'm trying to set Bookends with Mellel and I was wondering if I had to set Bookends specifically in order to insert in-text citations in my Mellel document. This is the problem I have to face to:
I'm writing an article using APA 7th edition and I have to insert a page number into my in-text citations as follows : (Author, Date, p. 12).
In Mellel, when I edit manually a first reference, then scan my document, it works: the page number is perfectly recognized and inserted. But, when I add a new in-text citation, with a new reference, Mellel tells me that there is an unmatched citation. Therefore, I cannot insert more than one reference with its page number in my document. Is there anyone here who could help me fix that problem? Thanks for your help.
