keyboard shortcuts for copy and paste not working

Hello,
I can no longer use keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste (command v and c) in text fields in bookends. Is there a privacy setting? It has permissions in accessibility and automation under privacy in security & privacy.

I don't know what the problem is, but check in preferences and see if Command-V is set to Paste or Paste and Match Style.

Command v is not changed under keyboard -> shortcuts.
When I right-click and use the menu for paste, it works.

Maybe some weird system issue. I'd reboot the Mac and see if that helps.

It's been like this for a while. Just rebooted and still the same. Is there some permission that I have to enable?

Not that I'm aware of. You can Google for that. But unless you reassigned the keyboard shortcut in System Preferences (which you'd know) I can't think of what would prevent the keyboard shortcuts from working.
