Hello,
I recently rebooted my computer and reinstalled the MacOS. I had my bookends library and attachments in iCloud Drive, so downloaded them again. But now bookends can't find the attached files - the attachment pane appears grey with a note saying it 'cannot find xxx'. I have checked that the default attachments folder is correct and populated with all the relevant attachments, which I can open from there. Any ideas?

Also, when I reopened the library, I had about 1500 references instead of nearly 5000 that should be there. There are about 5000 in the attachment folder. I don't find any other libraries on my computer / iCloud Drive. I'm wondering if I 'lost' a library somehow?

As for the library, you're probably opening a different one from the one with 5000 references. If you can't find it for some reason, you can get it again from the cloud with File -> New LIbrary -> Download From Cloud.
