*SOLVED* Cited Pages --> "customize" p. to (german) S.

Hi,

I understand that I can use the @ to add the pages.

Like in the manual: {Smoulder and Finnerty, 1999, #63747@15} becomes (Smoulder & Finnerty, 1999, p. 15).

Because I write in german I need the "p." to become "S." (for "Seite", the german word for "page") and after scanning it shall be
(Smoulder & Finnerty, 1999, S. 15).

How can I change that?

In the Format itself, Citation Options -> Common Settings -> Cited Pages

Enter S. in the "before" field.

Thanks for the super fast help. That did the magic :-)

One more question:
Giving the field options "a, d," makes "{Ahrens, 2017, #131642@20 - 24}" to "(Ahrens, 2017, S. 20 - 24)" <-- correct.
But it makes "{Ahrens, 2017, #131642}" to "(Ahrens, 2017, )" what is not correct because of the ", ".
Is there a way I can suppress the ", " if there are no additional pages entered=

Can you help here again?

I assume you're using a custom format and have entered this in the order field

a, d,

Don't do that. Enter

a, d

and let Cite Pages create the punctuation and S. before the pages.
