Surely this has been asked already. I tried searching but never found it. I have one PDF that is book of chapters—and has three references pointing at it (book, chapter m, and chapter n).

But Bookends only attaches it to the last reference I attached it to.

Do I really have to make two duplicates of this same PDF, and triple my highlighting, etc.?

If I catch your meaning...select the 3 references then drop the PDF on the library window. As long as you don't create a new reference when attaching, Bookends will attach the PDF to each of the 3 references.
