Hi,

I've got a PDF renaming format. It seems to be adding the year when I can't see how that is part of the format. The format is:
u1 {s^t^}.pdf
and it produces this for the book I'm trying it on:
Postgate1974 Taxation and conscription in the Assyrian empire1974

The year is not in the title or the short title (I've checked and rechecked this).

Any thoughts?

How does the output look when you select that reference in the library and open the formatted view at the bottom? If it's the same, try Rebuilding the library and see if it changes.

It does show up that way (see attachment). I've tried rebuilding to no effect.

What about other references?

Please export that reference and send it and your format to support@sonnysoftware.com. I'll see what the problem is.
