My primary e-mail is Outlook. Is anyone experiencing Outlook not opening a send message window when an entry in Bookends in right-clicked?

They communicate via AppleEvents, you system is probably blocking that. Go to System Prefernces -> Privacy -> Automation and make sure Bookends can talk to Outlook.
