Copy labels

Post by mawyn »

I'm in Preferences > Refs and looking at the Types list. Is it possible to select a particular type and copy all the labels from that type to a different type?

I'm thinking I could do this by editing ~/Library/Application Support/Bookends/TypesAndLabels.txt, but is there maybe a different way that might be safer?

Thanks,
Matthew

No, that's not possible. You can of course edit TypesAndLabels if you want -- to do it safely, make a COPY of that file and edit the original. If it is damaged you can always trash it and restore from the copy. And note that if you ever move TypesAndLabels out of the Bookends folder, it will be recreated with the default values the next time Bookends launches.
