'Show in Finder' does not work.

Hi All,
as by subject, 'Show in Finder' does not work for me (see screenshot below of what I mean). Once upon a time I could have Bookends show where the PDF of a reference actually is in the Finder so I could detach duplicated refs, and get rid of the appropriate PDF. Now Bookends just opens my home folder on the finder. I discussed this issue with Jon a bunch of times we could never fix it. Funnily, I can open the PDF, or attach it to an email no problem, so Bookends does access the actual file in its Finder location, it just refuses to 'Show in Finder'.
Am I the only one who has this issue? has anybody encountered and fixed it by any chance?
