Loving Bookends

Post by doclrb »

I experienced a strong positive with Bookends over the last twelve hours or so! Normally, when I add refs on my Mac, one cannot predict when they sync via iCloud with my IOS devices and sometimes I found myself adding them manually to a device.

From earlier threads I know that the iCloud sync phenomena occurred outside of Bookends and thus beyond developers' control.

But, all of my added refs and the annotations synced to my devices within hours! First time ever!

Keep Up the Strong Work!

Yes, iCloud sync can be a bit fussy. However, my experience is that for whatever reason Bookends sync (some sort of database data) syncs much more reliably than files do. I love that I can go to a talk and add papers that were referenced (I use my iPhone with a small bluetooth keyboard for note taking), and all those refs are always ready when I return to my office. Yup, Bookends rocks!
