I've downloaded BE9 and get error messages. I repaired and rebuilt my database but the problem is still there.

ie Search Error -61 when trying to access groups. Then SQL/regex search appears.
Reference window doesn't open: Search Error -61

List window is also truncated, fixed in width so can't see all fields.

Thanks - I'm really looking forward to using BE9 and hopefully this is something simple.

A -61 error usually means the file is already open. Make sure you don't have two copies of Bookends running (unlikely) and that the database gives you read/write permission (locked databases will give the same error).

If that doesn't fix it, try rebuilding the original database in Bookends 8, then converting it again with Bookends 9.
