Is there a way to force an iCloud update?

I am having an issue where a static group's contents are not updating. I tried rebuilding the index and verifying the Dbs on both my computers. I suspended then resumed syncing, but I have a static group in which a deletion is not syncing. Also: the total number of refs in my two devices' is listed as identical, though one of the two is a day behind with respect to the most recently added references . . ..

There is a Sync Now option in the icloud icon popup menu.

But I don't think that will help. You could hold down the Option key when you click the icon and Force Full Sync Now.
