Ignoring the English article (The, an, a) of titles in the alphabetization of works by same author

I am wondering if there is a way to set up Bookends so that it ignores the article (without removing it) of titles written by a same author in the alphabetization, when producing the bibliography.
The output from Bookends right now is the following:
Bauckham, Richard. “For Whom Were Gospels Written?” In The Gospel for All Christians: Rethinking the Gospel Audience, edited by Richard Bauckham, 9–48. Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1998.
———. “The Audience of the Fourth Gospel.” In Jesus in Johannine Tradition, edited by Robert T. Fortna and T. Thatcher, 101–11. Louisville: Westminster John Knox, 2001.
What the SBL2 handbook requires is:
Bauckham, Richard. “The Audience of the Fourth Gospel.” In Jesus in Johannine Tradition, edited by Robert T. Fortna and T. Thatcher, 101–11. Louisville: Westminster John Knox, 2001
———. “For Whom Were Gospels Written?” In The Gospel for All Christians: Rethinking the Gospel Audience, edited by Richard Bauckham, 9–48. Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1998.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
