Replicata Book Chapter bug?

Post by Wobble »

HI There,

I am having trouble with Refs -> Replicate as Book Chapter. Whenever I use the command, not all of the fields are reproduced in the Bibliography or Footnotes as they should be.

For example, if I have an dited book

Wittmer, Michael, and Stanley N. Gundry, eds. Four Views on Heaven. Counterpoints: Bible and Theology. Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan Academic, 2022.

When I use "Replicate as a Book Chapter" and then enter the data for the chapter I get the following:

Middleton, J. Richard. “Response to Michael Allen.” Counterpoints: Bible and Theology Four Views on Heaven (2022):

Even though the data is Replicated and filled in correctly (see below)
My book chapter formate looks like

Code: Select all

a, “t,” $ in $v $, ed++. $e, u2~ ed.~ $vol. $u14 $of $j $ed++. $u8.$, trans. $u3`. (`l: u, d)
If I manually make a new Book Chapter record, then it comes out as I want

Middleton, J. Richard. “Response to Michael Allen.” Four Views on Heaven. Edited by Michael Wittmer, and Stanley N. Gundry. Counterpoints: Bible and Theology. Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan Academic. 2022.

Thanks in advance for your help

The final output doesn't tell me much (except I don't see how you could get the words "Edited by" in it, based on the format order field you posted). Rather, I'd need to see the edit pane's contents in both cases. This is something that would be much easier to deal with if you wrote to support@sonnysoftware.com and attached your format and library (compress it in the Finder if it's too large).
