When the "Information" button in bookends is activated and a reference is inserted in MS Word (for Mac OS X), scanning of the document results in the following error message:

Database Engine Error: Record "Unknown" is locked in table "thereferences".

Did this occurr to anybody else and does anybody know how to fix the problem?

A few people have reported this, but I can never reproduce it. It may be some odd permissions issue, but it's hard to say. The solution that seems to work is to remove Bookends Preferences and reinstall Bookends from scratch.
