There is a way to add book prices in a field and have Bookends giving me the sum of money of the books selected? If not, can this be considered a feature request? Is this hard to implement?
At this point this would be a useful feature to me since I will be managing the book acquisitions of a school department.

Bookends doesn't know anything about monetary units, and treats fields as alphanumeric (so no addition). You could, however, export the data to a spreadsheet, which could then do these calculations for you...
