Journal Glossary questions

I normally use an edited version of SBL journal glossary. But each time I update BE I have to make a copy of the file and save it in other place to avoid the new BE folder to overwrite it with the standard one (it happened to me already once, notwithstanding the warning message!)
.
Is there any possibility to store the journal glossaries in (and use them from) a different directory which will be preserved when updating BE?
And a minor point:
- Wouldn't it be more intuitive to have also an "OK" or "Done" button in the journal glossary editing window? It sort of scares when, after having changed many things you have to press the red button to be prompted to either save or discard changes... Perhaps it is my problem as a "converted" from MS environment?
Thank you
