different authors with same surname

Hi there,

I can't find an explanation how to solve my problem neither in the user guide nor in the forum:

I have three different authors with the same surname in one document therefore I want to set what to do in this case in cites:
- use surname only anyway
- use surname, initials
- use surname, first name
- use first name surname
- etc.

If this is explained in the user guide or in this forum, sorry, and please give me a hint where I can find it.

If it isn't explained: Does anybody have an explanation for me or is this not possible at all? (If not, I would suggest this as new feature. and: is there existing a workaround?)

thanks in advance.

This isn't possible, and I can't think of a workaround (except post-processing the citations, of course). Maybe someone else can...

 Oh, I was sure that it was my failure because this is a real serious problem because this could lead to bad misunderstandings if someone does not read with the needed concentration.

It would be fine if a future version was solving this problem.

I'm very interested to hear some opinions on that.

Jon, do you think about adding this feature in one of the next versions?

I really can't comment on future plans.

I can't believe that nobody than me would need this feature. This seems to be a standard problem to me and so it's logical imho that Bookends will service this.

Well, me as example, I do not need this feature and I do not understand what your problem really is...;-)
