Hi,

I started using bookends yesterday and am still trying around with it - yesterday the internet search was working great and I was very happy that the German database GBV is included, but today the internet search won't work! I restarted a couple of times, but whenever I try to do a search some window pops up and gives me some error message, something with "doctype HTML..."
The proplem occurs no matter what search options I use, it's very frustrating.

Somebody help please...

The LOC gateway is temporarily down. This is from their web site:

so would this explain why all the other libraries don't work either?

Right. Amazon and PubMed do work, BTW, because they use a different method to access data.
