Volume(Issue) in Chicago Format

Using Chicago 15thA with journal articles, the issue is contained in parentheses and then repeated as "no. X". As in this case:
Author. "Title." Journal 99 (4), no. 4 (1988):
I tried to correct this problem in the formatter but I see that there's a way to extract the issue from the parentheses, but not the volume.
Am I missing something?
