Bookends Crashes when attaching file

Bookends application crashes when I try to attach a PDF file to a reference. I rebuilt the database and made sure that the folder with the PDF files is selected in preferences, but it's still crashing. Anyone else having this problem?

You did the right thing.
When that doesn't work, the problem is always (so far, anyway) the Bookends Preferences file.
Remove it and relaunch Bookends. You'll need your serial number handy. And you will have to reattch one file for each folder you have attachments in. If you use the default folder, this is unnecessary.

Deleting both of the preference files (preferences and plist) seems to have corrected the problem. I guess one of them became corrupted.
