Now that BE stores date of creation of new records, could someone give us a hint on how to create a Smart group with the last x-records that uses this date information?

Thank you

You can't, at least not at this time. The information is not searchable (and in any case, the date is stored in a form that wouldn't lend itself to a user's SQL search). Maybe in the future...

I think that this would be a great feature. Especially when you're working with quite a big reference database, it's always that the refs you need most are the ones you imported recently......

Please add this feature in the future! thanks!

Hi,

In case you missed it, in most cases the last added references have the highest reference numbers. Based on this, there is a simple Smart SQL group that lists, for example, the last 15 entered. Here's a thread that discusses it:

I knew about that thread, and I use this smart SQL group. The only problem is with duplicated references (like, when you enter a book and then you want different references for book chapters of the same book, you can duplicate the reference and change what is needed), that usually take a ref number following the original one, and so it can happen that it is not among the very last numbers.

Anyway, it is a useful way to have most of last entered references there.
